Colleen Doherty joins Palladino Isbell and Casazza, LLC (PIC Law), bringing a deep passion for immigration law to her role. A native of Horsham, Pennsylvania, Colleen has built a career rooted in her dedication to serving the immigrant community.
Colleen’s academic journey began at Dartmouth College, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in French. Colleen continued her educational journey by pursuing a Master of Education degree from Temple University. Her love for languages and cultural exchange led her to Mexico, where she spent a year teaching English. This international experience enriched her understanding of diverse cultures and languages, setting the stage for her future endeavors. She then took on the role of a Spanish teacher in Philadelphia.
In 2015, Colleen transitioned into immigration law, a field that she quickly fell in love with. Her dedication to this area of law led her to work as an Accredited Representative for four and a half years, where she passionately advocated for the immigrant community. Her commitment to this work was further demonstrated during her tenure as a clerk at PIC Law, where she gained valuable experience in the firm’s dynamic environment.
Colleen earned her Juris Doctorate degree summa cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Her academic excellence is complemented by her practical experience, including an oral argument on an immigration matter before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also interned at Nationalities Service Center and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court) in Philadelphia.
Fluent in Spanish and conversational in French, Colleen is well-equipped to serve a diverse clientele. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Colleen’s professional journey reflects her commitment to building meaningful relationships with her clients. She takes pride in understanding their needs and representing them with compassion and dedication.
Outside of her professional life, Colleen enjoys playing soccer and exploring South Philadelphia. Colleen’s blend of personal and professional experiences makes her a valued advocate for her clients and a dedicated member of the PIC Law team.
